How long are training sessions?
Training sessions are 1 hour at my in-home training studio or your home gym.
What is your typical process for working with new customers?
I meet with potential new clients at my in-home training studio, where we discuss health and exercise history, nutrition habits, review goals, and take body measurements. I review all equipment in the studio, and we normally go through a short workout.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ACE® Certified Personal Trainer, and I am required to take yearly classes and CPR certification to keep my training certification current. I regularly read articles published by various outlets to stay up-to-date with current fitness trends and educate myself on the best methods to achieve results.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been passionate about sports since I was nine years old, and started working out in a gym when I was 13. I have always loved lifting weights, and staying current with fitness trends. After playing volleyball for four years in college and graduating, I opened a women's only fitness center with my parents when I was 23 years old, and really loved helping people change their lives through fitness. I'm even more passionate about exercise and nutrition now, and I'm trying to help as many people as I can feel better about themselves mentally and physically.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with males and females of all ages 6-76. Clients have varied in physical and athletic abilities, and with different physical issues such as back, hip, neck, knee, and shoulder problems, arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and cancer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Figure out what your goals are, and ask for a consultation to find out if you can see yourself meeting with that person 1, 2, 3, 4+ times per week to achieve those goals. I can help with weight loss, toning and firming, strength building, flexibility, balance, coordination, and nutrition.

What is your cancellation policy?
Twelve-hour notice is needed if you are unable to attend your appointed session for any reason. If less than twelve-hours notice is given, or you fail to show up for an appointed session, you agree to pay the full price of the session.
